Bita Vakili: The Enchanting Painter of Time’s Passage and the Depth of Existence

Bita Vakili was born in the capital of Iran, Tehran, in 1972.
Vakili entered the world of colors and painting during her adolescence and high school years.
Bita Vakili’s academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the Faculty of Art at Azad University of Tehran, and she continued her studies at the Master’s level in Painting at the Faculty of Art at the University of Tehran.
However, Vakili did not limit herself to academic knowledge and pursued her artistic path with dedication and perseverance.
Her participation in more than 80 solo and group exhibitions across Iran and worldwide attests to her effort and creativity.
From prominent galleries in Tehran to the international stage, Vakili’s works have consistently been welcomed and praised by critics and art enthusiasts.
A remarkable achievement is her record-breaking sales of $25,000, $32,000, and $48,000 at Christie’s Dubai auction, which established her as the most expensive female artist in the Middle East in history.
